Who we are

Stormvane is a market intelligence service for brands, based in Arizona, USA. This policy explains what this website collects and how we use it. Questions: [email protected].

What we collect

• Pilot applications: your name, work email, brand name, store URL, market, and anything you write in the optional question.
• Demo access: if you open the demo, your work email and whether you chose to get Stormvane updates.
• Basic technical information our hosting provider handles when you visit, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

If you open the demo, we store your email to follow up about Stormvane; you can ask us to delete it anytime.

That's all. We don't ask for payment details, and the site has no accounts or logins.

How we use it

• To review your application, reply to you, and run the pilot.
• To keep the site working and secure.
• We send you one email confirming we received your application.
• If you open the demo, we send you one email with the demo link. We send more only if you chose to get updates.

We don't sell your information, rent it, share it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

Services that process data for us

• Cloudflare hosts the site, stores pilot applications in its database, and runs Turnstile, which checks that a form is sent by a person and not a bot.
• Resend sends us a copy of each application by email.
• If we turn on visitor statistics, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies.

These providers handle data for us under their own terms and may process it in the United States.

Cookies and tracking

We don't use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party ad networks. Turnstile may use technical signals in your browser only to stop spam.

If you open the demo, we set one first-party cookie so we don't ask for your email again for 30 days. It is not used for advertising or tracking.

How long we keep it

We keep pilot applications for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time.

Security

Applications are stored in a private database that no page on this site displays, readable only by the Stormvane team. We don't store your IP address with your application. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access and collect as little as we need.

Data you give us (such as product exports and feedback) is stored on our server and in encrypted backups. Some processing uses AI service providers that do not train on your data. If you ask us to delete it, we remove it from our live systems within 7 days and from backups within 30 days.

Your choices

Email [email protected] to see, correct or delete what you sent us, or to stop hearing from us. We'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights; contact us and we'll help.

Children

This site is for businesses. It isn't directed to anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
